🎉 Saturday at the Ada Track & Field Invitational we celebrated an incredible milestone from 50 years ago! 🏆 In 1974, Ada High School made history by clinching not one, but TWO titles at the Ohio High School Track & Field State Championships.
🥇 First up, let's give a round of applause to the Mile Relay team, who blazed across the finish line in a groundbreaking 3 minutes 25.9 seconds! Huge shoutout to Dennis Boutwell, Allen Clum, Steve Decker, and Mike Park for their stellar performance and unwavering determination!
🏃♂️ And let's not forget the 880-yard relay, where another record was shattered with an impressive time of 1 minute 32.0 seconds! Kudos to Steve Decker, Mike Park, Doug Klingler, and Mike Mankey for their outstanding teamwork and dedication!
🌟 We also remember the late Mike Park, whose legacy lives on in the hearts of many. We were honored to have his son, Austin Park, accepting the plaque on his father's behalf.
🙌 Let's give a huge round of applause to Coaches Gary Ricker and Roger Bartley for their incredible mentorship and guidance.
